I also just noticed that the first one isn't the final, I have an updated version that fixed the bottom of the shadow to match the logo. Still you get the gist of it, I can send you the finished .jpg if you really care.

Here is the flash file that you can edit anything you want to. It is a bit different of a design, but i can always change things around for you.

Both look good. I think because of the huge amount of depth I actually like the first one better. Good work. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

Sure. The program is based around music. Specifically, it's to aid in the exchange of playlist information between friends and people of earth! Also, you can see a screenshot on page 2 of this thread that I posted.

Sure thing dawg. I'll try a revision tomorrow. Perhaps smaller icons would look better with a smaller center, and perhaps the iPhone version with no disc... only the disc texture, to fill the iPhone's application "pill" shape.. Anyways, I'll get on it.

I gave it a nice and simple groove, hope you like it.

I don't like the colors, but the movement is definitely an interesting idea.

Here's another try. Started as a bubble idea, but found that a solid, bead thing seemed neater all round.

Again, was going mainly for a neat icon. The music sheet on the shadows would probably only be visible on larger versions of the icon though.

The white sphere container might need resizing and/or reshaping.

Will probably try something a bit more outlandish next, if I still have time.

I like the first two you submitted, I think I'll stay away from the black. I'll let you know if I think of any other variations of those.

This is looking pretty sick!! I have a request though. I'm loving the iPhone and 128x128, but for the smaller ones I have some issues like you said. For the 48x48 and 32x32, please try removing the cd glow because I think it'll make the t more readable. And for the 16x16, maybe try removing it from the circle? Not sure, but really good work!
