Twitter Skins

I wanted to put up a new page skin for our Twitter feed and decided it would be a fun place to showcase artists from the Art Portal.

Currently we're showcasing a piece by UltraPitchFork. It was actually kinda hard to find art that worked well as a Twitter layout, because it has to look good aligned to the upper left of the page and needs a solid background color to blend into the rest of the page (any color is fine).

If you make a piece of art that works as a Twitter layout and would like to be considered, tag it with "twitterskin" when you submit! If we feature it, we'll include your URL under the image!

Don't forget, this month is the winter Flash-Off! To participate, make a winter or holiday-themed Flash and use our Winter Pre-loader and optional Flash Ads. Also please link people to our collection page to view all the entries.

Prizes:

1st - $1000
2nd - $750
3rd - $500
4th - $300
5th - $200

We'll also have bonus prizes based on the turnout.

Tomorrow is the 1st of December and that means MONTHLY VOTING TIME! Visit your account options page tomorrow to see if you're in the voting pool.

I don't bother replying because I get A LOT of submissions, which I enter into a big notes doc. If you submit something after PMing me I MIGHT see it when I revisit the notes. I will probably start giving out tablets tomorrow.
