The hatching and how you like make it go into colour hatching at the bottom is heaps good. The only problem with this is that the nose curve is too angles and should go up straigher and also the shading on the nose and the nose bridge part next to the eye is too sudden and it should be more gradual so it looks more curve like. The neck shading doesn't look right, but the rest is really awesome ;)
Flicking through this thread, you've increased your skill in multiples of 2. Congratulations.
Oh, and that's not Anime fail at all... looks like a catchy style for anime.
Wow, thanks a lot guys. As for Cloudy, I can see the mistakes you've pointed out. I appreciate that you help me improve further. And I also give thanks to Lintire, Thanks a lot! I know it's a bit late, but here is my robot day lineart number 1.

I like how this is turning out.
My only suggestion is that if you wanted him to look innocent and whatnot, have like a bird or squirrel perched on his hand.

Thanks jonny. The squirrel thing you were talking is a really good suggestion. But you see, that "ball" right above him is like a glowing ball thingy. But I think I will use that idea. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that glowing ball was like an energy ball or was like the sun way off.
Hey Fifty! I see distinct improvement over time and I appreciate your somewhat gritty style. What I would suggest though is to work on your anatomy - draw people from life(best) or from photos and really try to see the forms. Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice dude! Yeah, I really need to work on my anatomy. Maybe because I'm used to drawing non-human things. Thanks again!
dude, I can actually see the progressive improvement over the course of this thread. Like, I actually see huge improvements from page 1 art pieces to page 4 pieces. I'm excited to see what your art will look like on pages 8-9

That's looking awesome! Really good detail and pose. His right arm looks like it's resting on the ground a bit because of the hatching around it and because the wrist isn't bent enough for it to look like he's leaning on just his hand. I can't wait to see this finished and complete.
Man, image resizing can be such a bitch. Here is my (finished) robot day entry. If you want a bigger and better version, *please click here*. Tell me what you think!
Special thanks: to Kinsei and the others on the lounge who helped me resolve this sizing problem. :D
Great submission you have there - see you took the whole "fuzzy wuzzy creature in hand" ideas into heart.
My favorite scene in the whole Girlchan series. Made by Egoraptor.
Meet Bob, our complaints manager, lol. 20 min sketch.
Your Robot Day entry is absolutely gorgeous.
Killer textures, excellent composition and a very sad feel to it that I like a lot.
Really beautiful work, from top to bottom.
Also...Bob looks pissed...I'll be sure not to complain...again.

Thanks! Don't worry, Bob is a nice guy (monster) actually, he can't hurt a fly.
What is this animal? You have these choices:
a.) That thing of Final Fantasy or whatever...
b.) Kevin from that Movie, what was that movie called, uhmm... Oh yeah. UP.
c.) An ostrich mutant chick baby.
d.) An undiscovered species of chikin.
e,) A totally gay MS-Paint Creature. Or...
f.) Who cares? None of the above. >:(
Winner gets a cookie. :P

I'd rather look at this image for 10 minutes than watch Girlchan 3.
aka this image is awesome and Girlchan 3 was horrible.

Wow! Thanks a lot Jonny. Girlchan isn't that bad. Although it was no that good compared to the other two episodes. Episode 2 is the best in my opinion.

Actually, I've decided that I'm going to choose option E. Just reminds me a lot of a picture done in MS Paint.
That doesn't make it un-cool, mind you.
Also, the cross-hatching doesn't come off as well when done with the brush tool.

NO, its a toucan mutant chick baby :P
Lol. I think ashman is right it's an ostrich (toucan??) mutant baby. It was made from in MS- P.int.
Okay, for more important matters I made a pic of M-vero's KAWAIII Ultimate. Opinions?

g.) The product of a horny toucan and a surprised dodo bird.
Whatever it is...I like it.

That is brutal. Has really nice pop to it and I love the bombs.
You do great teeth.
A robot awakening or whatever. Drawn in flash. And thank you antiandy!

Yeah, pretty much the most hardcore thing I've drawn in a while.
