I'll post a scanned one and good pictures of it put together once i get a hold of a scanner/camera

Quick note, in case some of you aren't on the same page; ReNaeNae, Captain-Ben and I aren't competing, we decided on the theme for the contest, made our examples and wrote up the thread as a super-friends-team.

So don't give up in despair because Ben's is so awesome...

he can't win.

I always tend to think that if poeple do not respond to my work, it is okay/quite good, but not really outstanding.
I know I would feel a complete asshat responding something in the lines of " yeah, it is so-so, but not really mind-blowing". I tend to feel I nee to have more to say to be worth the responce.
anyways, I like yours, but as I (kinda) said... It doesnt really stand out. It is kind of funny, but not hilarious. It is well executed, but not amazingly done. It is somewhat original, on the other hand it isnt totally out of the box...
Whereas mine is quite okay artwise (not great either). it is not really original. But it is funny. (okay maybe mine wasnt the best example but here is the clue:)
If you have one aspect down, poeple tend to forget the mediocre parts of it.

The coloring, honestly, looks nice when you're actually looking at them in person..

Disregard my last question. it was part of my old Idea, which sucked. My new idea is better, and will be submitted tomorrow completed. For now, I only have a preview snapped with my cellphone.

It's a Street Fighter: The Flash Collab Arcade Machine =D. The Front part is awesome so far, but I don't know what to do with the sides. Surely I'll figure it out. I apologize for the low quality of the photo. My computer was running too slow to take a screenshot, so my Cellphone's crappy camera had to do. That, compounded with having to compress it into a JPEG lowered the quality further. Should I finish this tomorrow as promised, I'll deliver a good photo.

ha. took me three hours yesterday, not quite done. i wanted to do something like that guy on the front page with the blue eyed thing... but i decided a smoke effect instead of the lines and then i drew eyes... but it was too plain, so i figured i would add sand since gaara was the insperation for the eyes... and then, i figured i would add the claws... lol.... and this is what i came up with. im going to do a bit more before i print though. someone tell me how i did?
