Oh.. but i did say in my thread post that you dont have to make DnB but mix the AmenBreak with the Gerne your use to making. So i think its still goes for all artists! maybe this contest can challange a Artist to its full potential!

LOL! nahh you see Dexter since most of us are electronic artist it makes it possible to use the Amenbreak. in digital form, like a death metal artist would try to add the amen sample in Fl or any DAW he wishes to use and be creative with it!

The amen break is viable for most, but not all genres. However, I seem to recall an official comp about a year or two ago where the theme was "drum and bass/ ambient" so in terms of financing a contest, I doubt Tom Fulp would really care what it's about. I think what he cares more about are the opinions of the mods/ community.

I managed to toss some guitar into mine. It's actually a really cool sound. And it's quite fun to play with switching back forth with different sounds.
Now THIS is a competition! Im gonna work on some things later on today... not making any promises, but it's gonna be twisted.

I don't even care about winning :D I had a great time throwing this guy together and it helps to get me out of this damned slump i'm in. Haven't put anything solid out in about 3-4 weeks.
