I've come back to express dismay in this project. At this rate Pico 2 is gonna be released before the 2009 Sketchbook Tour.

Yea its been cut up. Just dealing with bugs and the photography part of it. Like the store stuff needs to be setup so that it can be integrated into the flash thing. Photos are taking a bit longer to materialize cause im kind of picky.

ok probably not, but its pretty close. I've just been temporarily sidetracked by a game tom wanted me to art real quick so yea the last two weeks ive been doing other stufffff. I have tmrw put aside to work on this though. I have to make some minor ui changes to it and make a placeholder on the store for the shirts.
On a semi-related note, this is indeed the final sketchbook tour. I'm ready to try out new projects and new collaborative art pieces. I think its clear that this is a very demanding project and one that has become semi redundant with the release of the art portal. Sad day i know, but not really. I think if anything its the dawn of a new day bla bla. I still like the concept of tangible traditional art so thats not going away i just want to try new applications of it. Ok thaaaats about it for todays update children!

ha i didnt take part in any, how awesome, i think this has really been replaced with the notepad collab, plus luis has still got the raffis and the future of that for his traditional contests
although that doesnt have much interest at the moment

the sketchbook format is outdated and really difficult to manage and publish. If it was all online art this wouldnt take so long, at the same time i think it would take away from the concept of showing your traditional art chops. Anyway i dont see it as a bad thing to retire it. It will just manifest itself in different investments, like the munny competition, a "_____" project later in the year. You guys are just clinging to a project that has been more effectively replaced by a portal. And i do intend to release this if not next week, the following one. I'm finally rid of some shit i had been lending a hand on.

Thats too long and too dramatic. It probably wont have a year to it, i havent decided. The shirts dont have a year in em, so this is like our dirty secret. Also i agree with catoblepause ;3
