The perspectives are too different on everything.
The buildings are almost at a top down, the goblins are close to a front view, and the bricks beside the house is in between.
Yup, needs to be that way on purpose for the kind of game it is. The player is able to alter the environment, so the tiles need to very much show the grid at all times. This way the player always knows where he or she can work, and where units can move. There cannot be an visual obstructions. Thanks for looking!
