A Speed Paint A Day For 30 Days

Well, I haven't been here in forever and I really need to get better at painting in Photoshop. Trying out new brushes and blah blah. This lil' project is gunna get me in the groove, so I'll try do one a day, spend an hour or more on it and blah blah.

Just did this one, I think it's horrible but it's fair to say it's the first thing I've done without using any outlines or ever guidelines, at all. So if you want, you can give me idea's for what to do. Chances are I won't do it but I might, lol.

The sword is a little bit bent i think, and the hand lacks detail.

also you could put more detail in the background, but that all depends on the speed of your art

Great idea, I've been meaning to try something similar for the 15 min thread for speeding up my output.

Try spamming shapes on a blank canvas, then give it the first form that you think of (like you do when you cloud watch).

Sometimes works, sometimes fails miserably.

I can't tell to well from your pic, but also try to keep strokes to a minimum.
