The Robot Collab

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by robots. So why not make a collab based on them?
Basically, you'll have to produce a 10second-1minute piece based on robots in some form.
To enter you must have at least one flash that has a score of over 3.00, just so I know i'll be getting quality work and not crap. And only about ten people can enter, because my computer is a piece of shit and anymore and it would explode.
I should be submitting it sometime around feb-march, so you'll have plenty of time.

Now the major rule is, your piece must not contain any trademarked robots (eg. Wall-E, The Megazord, Jonny 5). You can have other robots that are similar, but keep them of your own design.

Alright, time for the basic rules.
Frame size: 550x400
FPS: 30
Background: Doesn't matter.

Make sure to break apart your text, and convert it into a single frame that spans the length of your piece. Just makes things easier for me.

Also, you can't enter if you use any version of Flash that's above 8. Because that's what i've got and anything above probably is incompatible.

this can all be done in the metal collab, as long as the robot is metal. there are still spaces in the collab as well. so you are not restricted to JUST robots you can do anything metallic really.

yeah, this is kind of copying the metal collab. The only differences are that in the metal collab, you can animate anything metal, although I dont know many people who wouldnt animate something thats not a robot. Theres still some spaces left, read my last post. It may look full, but if you want to join, I will get rid of someone who hasnt posted anything yet. I dont jsut want to get rid of them anyway, incase they do come back from being in hospital for 3 months or something. Sorry if this sounds like an advertisment.

I've wanted to do this for quite some time now, and finally I feel like doing it and you guys try to shut me down. Well not today.

Just because it's similar, doesn't mean I have to stop. That's like if some guy wants to make a sprite collab and some troll comes along and goes "HURR YOU'RE COPING [insert sprite collab here] LOLOLO".

Because I don't want people working really hard on their submissions for like a month, and then it doesn't get in.
I've had that happen to me before, and let me tell you, it's really fucking disappointing.

but also id like to ask about does it matter what kind of robot animation is it. like can i make my styled music based short animation where i choose music or/and sound i like or do we have one song that will be divined to the each part?

Not really. Worst case is that when I get it sent to me it doesn't import, or when I try to my computer explodes.
