You know, this evening I actually saw that episode for the first time. Made me laugh. I never watch Futurama, actually, but I was extremely bored.

Oh wow lol, you guys have threads for everything. Yeah I've been a member of this site for 7 years, I just never got around to posting on any of the forums until just recently. I'll remember those links, thanks a ton.

xKore's Twin

I was just looking around on Beatport for some neat tracks when my eye suddenly feel on this EP which is feautured second in the Top 5 of Releases this week: Full Russian by X Kore. First thing I thought was 'Hey, xKore has released some new stuff!', but then I saw that it said X Kore rather than xKore. Which is strange, because the style of music is almost identical to xKore's. But I don't see why he would put music on Beatport under a new name. Is someone impersonating xKore here?

Actually is about VST effects, but still useful.

Maybe theres a minimum of 6 characters in a name so he had to put the space to fill it out

I'm pretty sure you have to have a label to post music to beatport, so I doubt someone is impersonating him

Dude, xKore already has released an album (Domination EP) on Beatport with the label Cognition Imprint, simply under the name xKore. That's why I don't see why he would change names to release another EP, even if it is with a different label.

Dos games

I got really into DOS games when I was 13-14 or something. I had an old computer which used to run windows 3.1 until I ruined it. So then I just looked up tons of dosgames I could play on it. I'd download them with the slightly better computer with a broadband internet connection and a floppy drive, then stuck 'em into the old on and tried them all out.

I remember it was a pain to split some of the games, stick 'em onto multiple floppies, copy them onto the computer and join them again. I did have a load of fun with that though.

If it is helpful, I got most of those games from here: http://dosgames.com

I know for a fact that it's still xKore... my guess would be that whoever uploaded the EP through Buygore put a space in it.

Still it should be good that he's playing them... Revisiting the classics rather than forgetting about them all together....

Well I was just being general with the bozo remark.

He knows a lot of things about music and the way it sounds and how different file compressions and etc. sound.

Good for him.

I agree that the Grados he bought were junk. A cheap pair of headphones he has sounded above and beyond what those headphones could ever achieve. Grados, I'm guessing, is tailored like Bose... no highs, no lows, must be bose.

If you both reckon there's no presence or low-end depth in any Grado headphone I guess you're both a couple of clowns who probably don't have the balls to drop more than $200 on a pair of good cans.

Yes lol I was. I was born in 1992. Most of these games are 1993 - 1997. I started playing doom in 2001 and just am now playing all if them. I think the fames are fucking fantastic And am building an arcade machine to play them all with joystick and optional keyboard controls. I will probably have to have a keyboard for advance controls though.. It should be a fun project if i suceed.

Its amazing to see how games have grown in the past 20 years...

It's a shame to think that helping your friends may ultimately ruin your friendship.

I bailed one of my friends out of jail for 400 dollars, then sat at the police dept waiting for nearly 5 hours while they took their sweet ass time. Once he was released, I took him to my house and we hung out for a few hours and then he went home.. After that, I haven't heard from him again. I tried calling him, going to his house where he would just lock the door on me. Messaged him on the internet, and he would just sign off or block me.

I also gave another friend 100 dollars to tow his car. Same crap happened.

I've had "friends" ignore me over a measly 10 dollars that I didn't even want from them.
