As cool as that song sounds, I don't see why you would try to farm followers like this. It's shameful :(

That is one hell of a list holy crap.

Why FL Studio 11 though? You should upgrade. 12 is really great.

Looking at the full feature set now that it's out, I'm tempted. As a signature bundle owner I'll end up getting harmless for free (already have the other 3 offered), stabler plugin support and it looks like I can now pull apart and remove that terrible toolbar up top. Oh and the Multi-touch support helps, I can shove the mixer onto my 20" touch surface and enlarge it now then haha.

Yeah I get what you mean about how it categorises plugins, but on the bright side, it's something you just need to do once at the start and you'll be done with it. FL12's new mixer is great too. Channel routing and grouping is just heaven on earth in FL12 compared to FL11.

Holy shit dude, where do you find the money for all that! A single Waves OneKnob alone already costs 80 bucks! (Except for Pumper, a temporary freebie I couldn't download because my code was messed up or something.)

Also I agree that the categorization of effect plugins in FL12 is kinda obnoxious. It takes me way more time to find the effect I'm looking for and I'm tired of clicking the wrong effect over and over just because it's in the list like 5 times (looking at you, Effector). I guess it's something I should get used to.

Apart from that I love FL12. I'm thinking of getting a new desk and when I do I'll probably buy a second screen to go with it. :)

So, I just got NI Massive (thankfully, I wasn't the one that had to afford it), and I'm wondering, is this what professionals really use? It's a bit clunky without a manual, and I've seen a lot of free VSTs pump out some of the same sounds with a little modulation and a lot less headache. Presets are all well and good, but I'm having a hard time working it. Maybe I just need to check out some tutorials or something.

To be honest, I really couldn't understand the appeal in Massive when I got it. Some of the presets are nice though.

Never really got along with Massive, creatively.
It can output some amazing results (like, really good), but it takes a long time to get to them.

In that respect, I'd recommend Serum.
It's extremely powerful and the interface is quite a bit more intuitive IMO. And stuff just sounds better out of the box.

Matter of personal preference a lot of the time, though.

Massive became really popular a few years ago because it had a really intuitive way to link modulations and envelopes, it kind of set the standard of drag and drop modulation linking back when wobs were cool.

I dunno, Massive is the most intuitive and go-to synth for me. Serum is probably better since it took that idea and built a better synth around it but I've still yet to fully learn it.

Just gonna join the NI Massive rant over here.

I agree with @Lich saying that Massive mostly gained popularity due to the rise of dubstep and a lot of dubstep artists using Massive. Most people get it just so they can use the oh so popular Modern Talking wavetable. I don't recall when and why I decided to give Massive a go but I can imagine the whole dubstep hype had something to do with it.
I like Massive a lot because it has a relatively easy interface considering how much you can do with it. You can create endless combinations of wavetables with the three provided oscillators, the envelopes and LFO's are really clear and easy to apply and the modulation oscillator can add a lot of variation to your sounds. I'm not too crazy about the filters and the effects but they can get the job done.
NI Massive basically allows me to create every sound you can imagine. Also, I suck at FM synthesis and Massive was pretty much the only VST I knew that doesn't work with frequency modulation.

Also hi @xKore, I'm your biggest fan xoxoxo

Been on Newgrounds almost 10 years now.... so much I've gone through... and I didn't even start to check this forum until 4 years ago, started to contribute audio 3 or so years ago, and started to mod it last year.

sorry for being a slow submitter...

There's this weird, sad feeling when you stumble upon an amazing song that drops your jaw as you realize you'll never be able to compose that exact thing. It's ... "taken".

Hey guys . Update on my life I guess .

Was a neet for 2 years. Didn't go outside very often, just played league and made shitty music. Had no job, friends fading away and life just sucked in general.

At one point I literally just said fuck it, moved to St. Louis . The rave scene here is fucking awesome , met people through after parties that have a thing called batfam where we are family and we look out for each other. That's how I found a job at a factory.

However, I'm broke till I get paid on friday . haven't eaten a full meal in 3 days and honestly this is helping a lot with my shitty bipolar now that I'm being an "adult". Am more motivated than ever to work each day.

I have a new family , new life and a new girl I've become friends with that helps me out with my anxiety by cuddling, hand holding, that cute stuff we aren't even dating and respect her so much for helping me out like this. First girl to accept me for who I am.

So yeah that's about it so far. That's the reason why I deleted my tracks cause I am a completely new person now .

Love you guys :)

One word: Marketing.
