I'm SO Happy with them. There's new frequencies and details I've never experienced before.

And ...

...it's Bloody Horrifying!

I feel like I started mixing and producing yesterday.

"*while listening to music* Oh wow look at how well defined the low end is now. OH MY GOD HOW DO I MAKE THE LOW END IN MY SONGS SO WELL DEFINED OH MY GOD!?FEW{O{FKOE HELP!"

It's actually really easy now that you know it's a problem. All you have to do is high pass everything except your bass elements. A lot of instruments have low-end frequencies that do nothing except muddy up your mix. (Actually, that's not completely true. They help instruments sound better when you're just listening to them on their own, but when you put many of them together suddenly the bass frequencies start clashing.)

Go fix those mixes! :D

Regarding the nude celeb leaks, my thoughts so far:
1-Apple, because it just works...
2-Why would you upload to the cloud sensitive material?
3-Don't keep your sensitive material in unsafe devices that are connected to internet at all time and the interface is so stripped out than you can't really control how it works (again a rant on how Apple deals with design, to keep things clear, clean and idiot friendly).

Hear, hear!

Though, personally I put less blame in Apple and more blame in the celebs themselves.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying "They deserved this".

But unless you were born yesterday, being a high profile celebrity and using an internet connected phone to take nudes makes you an idiot.

Hello everyone, I am not new to newgrounds but I am new to audio submissions. I posted a couple a while back but I just posted a bunch of my spoken word poetry. I really desire to be a part of projects and I am still in the learning phase of becoming a vocal addiction to NG. I am seeking constructive feedback and possible mentions so I might be visible to the NG community. If you have any tips or tricks I should be utilizing please let me know. I am seeking patience while i learn the ropes of the backstage process. Thank you NG family!

My diet doesnt work anymore, it stalled out completely. I did hit my goal last year of getting under 200 though so I lost a total of about 80lbs last year. Since the stall I've gained about 30 back, but I'm not sure how much of that is fat because I do a lot of exercise these days.

I'm onto the long term battle, the life long diet, which is a whole different and slower moving beast. The ultimate goal is to somewhat follow this personalized guideline I wrote out.

Nice! Congrats man, that's a huge milestone. I'm on my way now as well, down 27 pounds, about 40 to go (man, it hurts saying that!). But it's been consistent. I use this app called "Lose It!" to catalog literally everything that I eat (even my cheats and binges), and it has helped me immensely. Might work for you too. I'm following a similar diet as well (Plain greek yogurt w/ blueberries for breakfast, carrots/celery/tomatoes/hummus for lunch, grilled chicken or some other meat for dinner). Add in a daily walk (which I need to get better at staying with) and lifting three days a week, and there's not much else to do but wait and be consistent.

It's good to hear you stuck with it man. I'm in for the long haul this time as well. So many times I've just kind of crapped out and stopped caring, but I'm getting older now, and I don't have time to fool around. Don't want to spend the rest of my years here as a weakling with bad health. Props bro. Keep at it!

It's the nature of the beast. No one wants to buy music. I listened to a few of the tracks and want them for sure. I'm just lazy as fuck. Keep your chin up :p

My bread & butter Distortion unit for Vocal-work, Bass, Plucks and Drum-work. I pretty much use several instances of Ohmicide in every single track. The sheer amount of variety possible with it keeps me from ever really needing to use much else. I usually shape Bass, Plucks and Vocal-Distortion on Ohmicide in three bands instead of the default two and them either SmartE or Porridge on each channel in a tight (but not overly-so) shaping. Slapping it on Electronic drums lets you really play around and make an absolute brutal-sounding kit without much issue.

Fabfilter Saturn is better for saturation work though of course. But we'll get towards that another day.

As a Waves user who has the whole One-Knob bundle in my collection of Waves bundles and deals, I would strongly disagree with your statement. Louder is pretty much aimed towards a Peak-Limiter & Compression hybrid while making up the volume at the same time. The only ever time you will ever distort with it is if you overdo it and clip everything playing in that channel.

I don't even like Oneknob Driver that much (which is more Distortion-minded) as with Ohmicide and my own Hardware tube-screamer for Vocal-work I never have a use for it and it sounds abit iffy to begin with. To be fair the only times I even touch the One Knob Bundle is for Phatter and Brighter and that really depends on how lazy and/or what available system resource I have left.

I think the Joke went over your head there xD
I know that the Oneknob louder is for increasing loudness/RMS levels, but some people use it, turn it way up, to have the most loudest#loudnesswar #yolo #swag track, and sometimes even actually adding heavy distortion to the songs they try to master :P
