A friend of mine and this other guy have been having an argument. Its been about a character my friend came up with. The character is a red devil with a black halo.
Anyways the argument is about black halos. Are they evil?

Anyway, well, it would work as a good symbol of evil, but off course, it raises the question, if a regular halo is a ring of light, what is a balck halo? Darkness doesn't radiate. it could be some dark matter, but that doesn't really drive home the point.
A more interesting idea could be a dim, or a discoloured halo, since according to the bible, demons are fallen angels.

A very dark colored halo would be much simpler to comprehend. 'Black' is a very interesting concept...
