To become a mod you have to have the following qualities :
1. You must be polite and helpful to all users, new or old.

3. You can't have been banned a lot of times.
4. You must follow all the rules, every last one.

Those are the requirments i can think of at the moment, i'm sure there are numerous others, but you had best ask a current moderator about those. Most people will never become a mod, no matter how hard they try. That's why i'll never become one, I think i may have been banned one too many times. Even if by some fit of Admin madness I was made one, I don't know if i could handle the responsability, 90% of people on the forums couldn't.

It would be indeed. But you might only get respect from some. The mods have to put up with a lot of Bullshit from people, mostly when they ban someone. It would be nice to be able to help Newgrounds in a way though, but i guess A LOT of us aren't up to the job.
