"Simply put: Amazing"
date: April 18, 2008
This song has become almost a quasi-religion to me - I wrote entire papers back in college while listening to this song on an infinite loop and never got tired of the song in the process. I found it innocently enough used in an interesting little flash game and became immediately addicted to it. There's just something about this song that simply just meshes with me like very few songs do. I realize it isn't for everyone and everyone has their own frequency of music that makes them tick, but your music is hitting all the good notes on my personal music frequency, mate. Cheers!
I *am* having some issues, though, with the download. I've normally just always listened to it online as I'm simply just lazy. However, I decided to go ahead and download it the other day and I've had a problem with the track having some distortion/crackling at the higher frequencies. Specifically, it comes in right at 0:24 with the synthesizer. I was wondering if I could get a higher quality download somewhere or if you can fix the problem on your end of things. I'm not any kind of audio wizard/guru guy by a long stretch, but I've got a fairly decent set-up of music gear and it only serves to accentuate the distortion and make it quite irritating. Funny enough, the internet version sounds crystal clear and sharp so I'm assuming the problem is with the download - though I'm not all that clear that's the issue.
Anything you can do to help me out would be appreciated.
On a side note: I posted just to simply comment on here. I doubt there will be much of anything else on here that'll drag me back on because I'm not much a flash game/movie person. Unless you come up with another song that's on this same caliber and strikes me like this one....keep up the good work mate and don't stop trying to create music.

Author's Response:
True, the mixing on this song leaves a lot to be desired- the distortion is likely on my end of things. There isn't a higher quality version, as I no longer have the original project file for this song.
Which brings me to my next point. Since I don't have the file, but I WOULD like to continue work on this song, I've been working on a Tangerine Dreams 2.0. So, pretty much all I can give you is a hope that TD 2 will be coming up soon. Hook me up with your email address and I'll send it to you when I'm done. Not as good as you were hoping, but it'll have to do, right?
