Pretty good

dont really listen to songs that are like this but still a good song a ill give you a fair review

Has potential but

My review is concerned only with the first section of the track before it takes that hard turn. To write a meaningful review of the entire thing would take more time than I have right now.

Having the chord/melody always hit on 1 of every measure (not counting the lead-in that occasionally plays on 4 before the expected chord on the downbeat of one) became a bit tedious. I know you're mostly going for a simple, laid-back style here, but I would try some notes on beat 3 or maybe even experiment with some chord/melody hits on the upbeats. Your choices as far as the progression of this chord melody are concerned were fine, there's just more to be discovered in between. Maybe start with the first 16 measures of melody only playing on beat one but then gradually increase the complexity by adding notes on other beats in the measure while still maintaining your relaxed, chill vibe. Another criticism, and keep in mind this is all constructive, was the drum pattern itself. A perfectly good core pattern to build your song off of but you should try putting some subtle changes/breaks in the pattern in measure 4 (or measure 3 and 4 if ur feeling wild) right before a shift in the melody. I say melody but it barely qualifies. There was definitely more space in your song for a fluid, complimentary melody comprised of 1/8th notes, hell even some 16th notes if you like. But I know what ur going for so simple is the rule, just don't make it SO simple that it becomes boring. I write music and have worked with sequencers for about 14 years. This was just some friendly criticism. Good luck!

Oh, I just wanted to also say that I dig what you are doing with the ride cymbals in your drum pattern. But again, switching up this pattern would improve the song immensely. Don't settle for merely good. Yes, I know drum n' bass is built on repetition and that repetition is one of its chief characteristics. That said, the great artists know when to break the pattern and prevent it from ever becoming monotonous.

hmm

it sound like a song DJ Krush would make i like him so i like this its nice melow but not sumthn ppl like me can relax to lol

Weird!

DnB as a soothing melody? Cool!
