"Very dark and cruel..."

date: August 23, 2007

This is what bands like Slipknot should've become. You truly managed to create a psychotic little tune here. Massive distortion on everything kicks ass. ;D

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I do prefer a dark tone to my music. I got annoyed with Slipknot the moment there was more swearing and metal in stonesour than in slipknot. Although I really like some of their older songs. If you liked the dark tone of this one you should check out H3LL, or the vocal version, Wolves of H3LL; they both have a similar tone and distortion. Thank you for your time, your generous ratings, and your review.

I never give others a 10 rating.

But this piece is a piece of genius.

You are going in our upcoming game, along with full credit and a link to your site.

Unbelievably good job on this soulmasking.

You have my respect.

Author's Response:

Well then I feel very honored to have received a 10 rating. Thank you very much for all your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed this song. It took a awhile to do, trying various tones, and lyrics, since I was concerned that the song, in its final version here, would not be well received on ng. I felt that the verses would put people off to the song with there more narrative feel, but I decided to go with it anyways, to keep the tone of the song true to the source material. I feel humbled to have earned both a place in a future project, and your respect. Thank you very much for your generous review, scores, and time.

"you have your intros done right."

date: May 17, 2007

Nice intro, you sound like a fallen angel, but some of your grunts sounded like angry rhinos fighting over a twinkie
10/10
Keep it up \m/

Author's Response:

LMAO! um... thanks...? I think. I um... wow, what to say to that? While I'm not entirely sure that I was aiming for "angry rhinos fighting over a twinkie," I do love the mental picture that you create with your descriptions. I'm glad you liked it. The intro to each of my songs depends on the tone I want to set for it. I'm glad that you find them to be worthy of your praise. I definetly will be looking for more colorful reviews since you can be sure I'll be keeping it up. Thanks for your review, and most importantly your time.

"Best dark feel song on ng."

date: May 17, 2007

i "love" this song because the homicidal maniac is an idol and then to find a song like this on NG, sweet, more like this. most original, nobody on ng has good dark feel music and this is byfar the best i have heard in a long ass time.

Author's Response:

I enjoy music that conveys emotion, and the emotions I try to convey the most are... fear, anger, hurt, and sadness generally. All too often music just feels flat, sure it's got some guitar, drums, and vocals... but it doesn't have any emotion. I'm not saying I achieve this with each and every song (or ever have), I'm merely suggesting that it is my goal for most. My goal as it is, is to have my music covey the emotions I set forth in it, so that if placed over a movie or video game, it gives the correct and very definite emotion. A big influence to my music is Akira Yamaoka the composer for Silent Hill. I hope I can bring more songs like this, and hopefully better (if possible) to you. Glad you enjoyed my song, and took the time to review it. Thanks.

"YAY! NNY!"

date: May 16, 2007

Yay! Oh my gosh I love JTHM, and this makes me all smiles! ^_^ Thank you for making this song!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It seems we share quite a few interests in common. I will do my best to keep up the "good" work. Like I said before though... maybe review it, and give me some advice, and/or critizism so that I know what you're thinking. Don't mean to sound prickish, I am greatful for your support. Thanks for your review!
