I did my time and I thought I was done
it's been two months since I saw the sun
anywhere but here is my destination
still there's nowhere to run
hell is cold and I forgot my jacket

sleep kills pain
I can't sleep
fear I can't count on
counting sheep

some things are dead when they are alive
a vicious truth from which most people strive
we're not roaming these cold hills just to survive
we might find heat in time
but for now I'm getting used to freezing
