Two guitars, two vocal trax, one percussive track. This was always a favorite song of my Dad's...and after exploring some of Paul Simon's music over the last while...it's become one of mine as well. There's so much going on in the lyrics. I hope one day to be a master lyricist like Paul Simon. But hey, who can do that, right?

cool melodic song. not so sure if i like that weird phaser thing. maybe cause there aren't enough harmonics to make it sound solid? just sounds amateur imo

also dont really like the 2nd guitar panned to the left so much. the room of the mix just felt too empty. maybe have two arpeggiated guitar tracks to fill it up?

i think a more bongo/conga based percussion would sound better than just tapping on the guitar.

meh. thats all i got. has a real calming mood, probably smoke weed / drink to it. its got that atmosphere. :P

THAT'S it! I knew something was getting me about the vocals, but I couldn't put my finger on it! I'll fix the phaser thing, and the guitar. Checking my mix, yeah...I seem to have put it almost 15% to the left...I usually never go over 10. Those are easy fixes, and I guess so is borrowing some bongos from the music store. Kinda odd, I've gotten that comment twice...I thought the guitar tapping worked quite well. Guess I'm biased towards guitar percs.
