aww

awwww...this sounds so sweet!
totally love that!! <3

wow!

I CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE WHEN THE NOTE DROPS ONE! i don't know the actual term for it.. but like.. it gives it that somewhat eerie feel to it. gotta love it man!

amazing strings as usual! and the horns really put a certain mood to the whole thing.

onto the mental imagery!

a young boy is dreaming.
in his dream, he wakes upon a cloud, but soon discovers that things are a bit darker than they appear. it almost becomes a nightmare by the time the horns come in.
i see colors of purple and blue, darker shades of fuschia with sparks of white. kind of an evil innocence if that even makes sense.
the boy begins tearing up from fear and confusion. he doesn't know where he is, and doesn't want to be there..
he sees a bright white light and begins walking towards it..
only to wake from a dream in a dream.. forever stuck in a reoccuring nightmare.

i love the darkness and eerieness of it!

*imagines a soft cloud floating off somewhere*

A very high, soft cloud. O_O"

Awesome piece, SoulStrings! ^_^ I love the looping bell/harp part with the string and french horn accompament. A very relaxing, and dreamy song, indeed. :)

The only critisim I have is that the strings sound like it needs more echo to it, but you know what? XD I'm a sucker for reverb. >_>" Other than that, a great, loopable theme! ^_^

I can't wait for your next work! :)

Simply Beautiful

When I got to review this I was quite stressed out and after hearing this my whole body calmed down.

Damn fine samples, I can see why you are proud of them.

I can't find much to criticize on this... it's simplicity is it's beauty I think. Even if you took out the strings I could listen to this forever and go into a zen like trance lol.

It loops perfectly too... except for a tiny little glitch. I'm afraid thats all I really have to leave for a review. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

P.S. If you could drop a review for "March into Heaven" that would be great!

MaestroSegments responds:

It has a soothing feel, as a tribute to all my characters MS. Can you see them sleeping, either in their graves, or in the limbo I left them?

I feel bad for them still. This song brings back too many of them, makes me guilty for forgetting them, abandoning their worlds, and crushing their dreams and lives merely for my own benefit.

I tell you, I should really stop dwelling in these worlds so seriously, it is beginning to take it's toll...

For sure i'll check out your piece, thanks a ton for the review.

Wow..

I absolutely love crystalline sounds! These bells and the harp worked perfectly, the gave the feeling of wonder and excitement, a sense of awe. The strings were perfect, as they gave a feeling of innocence, happiness, then they were joined by horns, and gave off the feeling of an adventure, a remorse. The harp solo led back in and offered its relaxing melody. For a short loop, this has an astonishing array of feelings and difference incorporated into it. Very well done.

So, of course after getting such a review from you, I was already going to come and take a look at your page, but then you asked if I would come, and naturally, I had to. I'm very glad I did. Most certainly, this has its orchestral moments, but classical it is not. Ambient I do believe would have fitted this more comfortably ^^.

Naturally, you're good, you don't need me to tell you that, but I find now real enhancements that this could need, so I'll just leave it and say that I will continue to review your pieces.

5/5, and a download. Replayability 9.5/10. Wonderful job ^^. Like wise, don't get knocked from the fray!

MaestroSegments responds:

Thanks Mataro, I thought aside from trying new samples that i'd try to make a good loopable song, one that loops without huge signs and tell tale signs. I thought this was done pretty well in that aspect, and was afraid too add too much in fear that it would negate that entire purpose.

Thanks a ton for the review ^^.
