Okay, so I would like to first apologize for my long delay in actually writing anything here. I'd actually listened a while back when you first posted this but it seemed like every time I started typing my review something always got in the way... Moving on.

I'm not sure if you changed the opening song or not, but I think it seems a little toned down from the pilot. Your choice of course but I think it kills the opening drive for the listener a little.

I like the description given by the narrator as it does help the scene in the beginning, but I think it's a little overdone for the... scene changes and I think it could mostly be covered up with a few more in-character lines. Also it seemed unnecessary for the fight scenes entirely. Maybe try only using it for the beginning to orient your audience and for long jumps in the story.

I still really like the relation between James and Otis. His friend Barnaby sounds like a real jerk and for some reason reminds me of Fred Luo (Outlaw Star).

Wilfred The Weird is a fun character with the way he talks. Too bad it seems unlikely we'll see him after this.

The War is an interesting plot point. Can't wait to learn more of that. Now for some reason after learning this I can't help but think of James as a mix of Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly and Jean Starwind from Outlaw star.

Yoshiro is a bit bland of a character, although his skill with a blade is on par with that of Goemon Ishikawa from Lupin the 3rd. His way of life, the wandering Swordsman, is intriguing and I hope there's more to help bring him to life.

Thaddeus Briscoe sounds a lot like Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Though he acts like any number of jaded individuals who've lived through a great deal of violence. I am reminded most strongly of Clouse from the Girl Genius Comics, if you've read the series.

Some general things to try out, maybe while Jim is walking around town or the like, try finding some general crowd noises for the background. Also, when there's a mass damage attack from missiles, having some background screams might be good. I'm sure I could think of some more things to add but It's late and I'm starting to fade here.
