What happens when you merge Tolkien with the London Underground? Needless to say, stuff happens.

This was the best Piccadilly line voice that I could muster.

Voice is mine; dialogue written and recorded by a friend, Seán.

Oh, this is great. I don't even know what London Underground is. The recording quality is rather low, but Seán's script and your voicing of it are nice. Now, will you please excuse me? My axe has some orcs to mind.

The London Underground is the all-famous subway train connecting much of London, and parts of the surrounding counties. I will openly and readily admit this was recorded with a phone, and passed on Audacity's noise removal! XD

Mind you don't get yourself killed when dealing with the Orcs...

Seán...oh, Seán! The worn-out cameraman from your recording! Hello, hi! :P

First, credit to him for the dialogue and concept (or was it an idea by both of you?), I think it would befit an animated parody quite nicely. Some sort of elvish or generally LOTR-themed London Underground...*dreams*.

I think your voice sounds very commanding, Troisnyx, just the kind of stuff I'd expect from that kind of environment. However, it's a little plain, I feel: some sort of Tube soundscape underneath your voice (or even just the audio of the sliding doors after your parodied announcement) would have made it more interesting and authentic.

Line beginning "The next station is Lórien..." started off a tad loud.

The pipeweed line made me laugh. Love it! :D

Overall this was rather fun and it's nice to see your abilities as a voice-actress (as well as a talented musician and vocalist) at work, too.

Yes, that Seán. He came up with the idea and impersonated the Tube announcer, then I followed suit. It was after my voice was recorded that we both decided to put this up on NG.

I could try put this up with a soundscape, hopefully, if I do something similar in future. Not sure where this would lead, but we had a good laugh. Thanks for listening, as always!
