Hey guys. How's it going?

Now that I'm pretty much done with the production for my next EP I've gone away from producing piano-led beats and onto more constructive things.

This track is led on primarily by a guitar sample. Originally the sample wasn't there. Neither was the breaks or anything but the Synths. Surprised me when I time-stretched it and it fit together with the Synth line I made. This is also my first time experimenting with the 'Think' break. :D

The 'bass line' (what sounds like a heavily-filtered Reese Bass) is actually an 808 sample with a shit ton of EFX on it. For the record, every track in the mixer has at least one or more EFX on it.

The track strays away from (and completely eliminates) the guitar sample near the end in favor of a choir/string sample I pilfered from a certain Japanese Producer. :p Can you guess who it is? Said producer also made the 'doo-doo-doo' synth during the hook and the delayed deep thump at 3:33. Whoever guesses correctly gets a cookie and a rate 'n review. :D

Well, not much else to say about this. Doesn't really seem to me to be hip-hop (wouldn't bode well with an MC in my mind) but since there's no Instrumentals category, that's where it fits for now. :p

Haha! I love it when people build journeys and post them up. It's the coolest way to make movies in my mind, so thanks for that first and foremost.

Aaaaand I think the producer is Koji Kondo, but I don't know maaaaaaan I think I'm wrong here lol.

Ha! Thanks man. Musical journeys are the best kind, next to an outdoor adventure.

Also, yeah, you're incorrect.
