Hey! This is the original version of Polargeist from Geometry Dash. If you want to download the Geometry Dash edit, which is faster, shorter, and has an ending, then go here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/hjdfscsery1cpke/Polargeist+Cut.mp3

This uses Omnisphere for EVERYTHING, except the piano which is East/West Symphonic Orchestra, the laser effects which are from Fruit Kick, the bass which is BooBass, the sub-bass which is 3xOsc and the drums which are from Vengeance. Thanks to Decibel for urging me to use a compressor on this, making this the second time ever I used a compressor properly.

I had a tough time making this since I have a LOT of work to do, but the project was too good to turn down, and I had a lot of fun working on it! You may also recognise this as a track used in the mobile game Geometry Dash.

That's pretty much it. Hope you enjoy, since it's my first time making something like this. Feedback is REALLY appreciated.

I just noticed that this is a loop. I left it playing and it was repeating all the time...

Nice track.

awesome! however, i kinda want a the full version with a fade-out ending so i could do a GD level called Full Polargeist and have the end sound right. is it possible you could upload a version like that?

Step responds:

You can make a fade out ending in GD's level editor! It's somewhere in the settings as far as I can remember.

Let me know if you can't figure it out. Thanks for the review!

This was a friggin pleasure to listen to man. I kind of enjoy it being slower as compared to the GD version, its more chill, being more "cold". Those buildups were spot on. The break in the middle with the extended Drumstep section... Ahhhhh I can't even!!! The "drop" after that, which had the changing timbres from the saws to the bells sounded pleasing. Hipassing the saws? Pure genius. The drumbeat changes at the most appropriate times. The little transience in the beginning also blended in well.

Overall this was really well developed, great job! :D

Hey! Wow, sorry for taking forever to reply! This was actually a really interesting review to read since it's so different from most feedback I get on this track haha. It's refreshing to get a perspective from a fellow producer on this, especially since I rarely make electronic music. Most people seem to prefer the quicker GD edit so you're the first to prefer this version too!

Super glad you enjoyed this. Thank you for the review.

#AwesomeSauseSong This song I listen to when I'm mad. It refreshes me. Geo Dash used this but cut out some parts. 1 suggestion i have though. At the end. Do a little "fade out". That's what ego dash also did. :) anyways awesome song.

Step responds:

Actually I was the one who did that editing for Geometry Dash :p. they wanted the song to be a bit shorter so I sped it up a bit, cut out a non-important section and gave it an ending so it wouldn't loop.

Glad you like the song.
