Ahoy mates! I did this awhile back and finally decided to release this on Newgrounds. Its not my first attempt at the pirate genre, but its one of my best.

It was me and me crew 25 years ago
The sea was calm when I heard a mighty wind blow
I grabbed me compass and looked to the west
A ship with a flag and a beguileing battle crest
I Signaled to me first mate and yelled out to the crew

Nice work
So this was some nice work here I love the voice but it needs to come out more and have some extra effects in there as well like some unique instrument or something comming from an ambient sound but just an idea though

Nice! Both lyrics and music are good, but the voice feels really distant. The voice is a bit tense too, not too bad but still more like talking than singing. It works well for the verses but it would be nice with some more vocalism in the chorus. Have you tried that? Even if you can't sing it'd liven up the piece. :) Everything syncs well overall, and it's complete with a solo towards the end. Nice work!

I'm not much of a singer yeah. haha I tried to do the song in a more Alestorm style, but now that you mention it....it could benefit from more vocalism(neat word btw) on the chorus.
Great song man, heavy metal pirates are awesome. The mix was really well done too, the guitar tone is pretty kick ass. Ill have to take your advise and check out that gearbox.
Thanks man I appreciate the feedback! I'm not sure if they make gearbox anymore(I think its discontinued) , but you can get POD farm which is pretty much gearbox with some improvements.
