The title theme for Team Crystal Egg's game.
Considering that my pieces for Game Jams have been short ones so far, this one is no different in terms of length. However, the story behind it is particularly poignant.
A young boy goes into the woods and crosses a brook, sifts through trees and ends up in front of a hut, cabin, what have you -- fit for Baba Yaga, with the hopes of finding a remedy for his sister's illness.
The sliding violins are something I had thought about between last night and this morning, when Squidly and I discussed the motivations for the game. For some reason, I find it sad and hopeful all at once.
