Here we have a remake of an old song of mine. I added a decent guitar, much better drums, a new melody, made it quicker, did much better mixing, smoother transitions and a decent ending. I also got rid of the weird piano intro in the original.
This is actually for Father's Day. I'm not so experienced when it comes to pop but pop is my dad's favourite genre so I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, even though I'm really really busy with exams right now. This took me nearly three hours, and it's not really that good. It's generic, cheesy and a little repetitive but I'm really hoping my dad likes it. It's the least I can do for such an awesome dad I guess.
SO, this uses East/West Symphonic Orchestra for the strings and piano, East/West Ra for the flute, Virtual Guitarist for the guitar, EZdrummer for the drums (although I'm getting my little brother to drum with it on the day so it can be a joint present) and a free soundfont called BassFing for the bass, because I don't have any good bass VST's :(.
Even though I didn't work too hard on it, I hope you guys enjoy it. Father's Day is tomorrow so feedback before tomorrow would be really appreciated!
