Testing out this new project thingy! Basically working on a ONE WINGED ANGEL remix from FINAL FANTASY VII. Doing crazy stuff with this. It's still extremely rough, obviously, so be gentle!! Hahah.
This is by no means the final version! I don't even know what I'm doing with this project thing anyway lol.
I think it actually uploaded it as a finished song, lol... Well anyway, enjoy it for what it is, probably removing it next week then, hahah. xD
Actually you know what, I'll keep it on here 'till I finish the complete song! Much better idea i think. Thanks for any and all feedback you guys give my way, it's all very appreciated!

I'd have to disagree with the comment made down there about 1:13. I thought it was a good transition between the first half and the second half.

damn... dunno where my copy of ff vii is... after this i really would like to play the whole game again! i like the remix and i kinda see in the first part sephiroth and in the second Cloud n company in this! keep it up!

It's a good start.
The beginning and 1:13 had totally different feels to it, especially when 1:29 hit. I mean don't get me wrong, the positive hype it was giving was really cool, but it just didn't really fit with the song.
1:13 till 1:29 was disgusting and out of synch with the beat of the song. I mean I like dubstep, but that... that was just totally a mood killer.
However I loved everything before then, the dark, epic, electronic, feel to it was amazing. The intro could have been longer though to build up tension. Also an epic and powerful drop wouldn't be out of the question.

I've heard way too many failed attempts at remixing this song. And this is NOT one of those. I absolutely love the direction you're taking this. It completely rewrites the original feel of the song, and still manages to hold on to a level of nostalgia. Nobuo Uematsu would be proud.
