Flex tore it up in his second real talk

MadFlex V1 - Flow sounds slightly awkward with such a fast beat. "Jay's recording me" is heavy as hell. Animal Crackers diss, okay. Overall strong rhymes but doesn't feel very aggressive.

Maelstrom V1 - Great opener. Name diss is nice. Radio flip is nice. California diss is solid. Seniority flip is somewhat basic but relevant, good finisher.

MadFlex V2 - Starts the verse perfectly, Cynic and ding dong rebuttals are great. Hard to listen to is nice.

Maelstrom V2 - Going public is nice to double down. Disney flip is okay. A bit of filler and a nice closer. Mixing sounds bad with the doubles and flow is somewhat off.

Not Flex's best battle, although he still came hard as expected. This feels very close and evenly matched, moreso than the first few times I listened to this. Maelstrom's first verse was extremely strong, his second not so much. Flex was more consistent but overall didn't have the kind of power I'm used to hearing from him. I really wanted to vote for Maelstrom because of his charisma and how close he fared against the champ, but I would still have to give it to Flex by a nose for stronger rhymes although he had a few overused rhymes as well (surgically, really?)

Those were fucking haymakers.
Props to both of yall. It's nice seeing a new swag in these battles (MR-Maelstrom), but you gotta go harder than that to beat the champ.

As I remember and I can be wrong but I remember you saying there is no bracket, and these battles were for fun for the winter or something along those lines and you matching up people according to skill is kind of a give away there is no next round, again I could be wrong.
Now,
MadFLex came strong in the first verse, he had nice punches and his flow was on point. Maelstrom came a little personal in his verse and I liked his verse a bit more, but as always MadFLex came with nice flips, right away answered his rhetorical question and dissed his "ding dong" sample. His engery got me in the zone and I enjoyed his verse, Maelstrom came back on , what seemed to me to be, a DMX tip. A little too loud but he had aiight punches.

Had overall better lyrical content and had more punches that counted

First verse was nice but his chance to end the battle with a nice verse and/or punchline was wasted.

MadFLex has my vote.

WOW, Before i go vote got to say one the best battle of this round and both mc Were Beast Now Back to voting.

MadFlex: Known for Flow in my book and you did bring on this beat. What you did Better then Mr-Maelstrom Was Punches you Hit Him With what he done and he never really Flip any of it. Which really gave you the battle.

MR-Maelstrom: You had a bad ass delivery with your words. and your attack was alot of "I'm better then you" dissing. But you had A great ass Flow... And fuck i know i said this but i really like how you delivery your shit.
