Red, I get the effort you probably put into getting the matches even, and you did a damn fine job... But giving a chance to wack rappers you kinda took it from beasts like flex and maelstrom...
Here, we got a battle that could have perfectly been a final, but now, only one of them can advance, and on top of that, the other one loses in the first freaking round!!!
Anyways, even though I have to give my vote to flex, I've also have to give props to Maelstrom, because he came short by just a bit and pulled a great one here, and deserves some recognition for that...

Great battle

Both rappers were pretty damn good, diggin' both their flows. Tough to make a decision on this, but I think I will go with...

Madflex. Maelstrom didn't really hit Flex with any particularly bad punches.

Flex'n Mad

MadFLex: Complexity, flow. Really like the tone he started his 2nd verse with. Some of the dubs were a bit off, at some parts it had a nice underground feeling to it, but sometimes it made a word or two slur together.
MR-Maelstrom: Like his voice, gritty sound to it. Enjoyed the sound FX and ad libs in his verses. The dubs were off too; they were too noticeable for my preference.

The reason I commented on the dubs, was because this battle was top notch artistry from each artist. Really enjoyed listening to this one. But I'm going to give it to MadFLeX; his tight flow and clever wordplay won it.

He cane out with direct attacks at Maelstrom, while Maelstrom was imitating other battlers. The best part was how FLeX kept his composure during the whole battle. In Maelstrom's last verse he seemed rattled or like he was trying to hard to come with punch lines that were overall liking. A nice effort though but this one is all MadFLeX.
