She did not remember ever going to sleep, finding herself in a dreamworld waking.., awfully silent and in the distance eerie bells heard ringing coming from right below. Meire carefully looked around and noticed a trapdoor in the floor, peeking into the room beneath the wall was decorated with a giant sunmask.. creepy yet furthermore no sign of danger.

Having crawled down the hatch, the room looked like a kings study.. but all the windows were sealed shut.. behind doors stood walls strut and the only stairs to the right of the room ended without a door to begin with.. suddenly the mask started moving and spoke..

"Some say the sun comes up in the east, i'd say its hotter in africa.. riddle me that"

Startled the young girl fell down on the floor against a piece of stairs leading into a wall.
The bottom step cracked in two as if made from cork, paper, carbon maybe.. leaving a manhole in its place. The mask now remained silent.. perhaps a mechanism had been at work..

This would be the only way out now, so she crawled into the opening.. wich seemed tighter every bit.
But on its end contrary to expectation.. there was no light to be seen.. instead' it was pitch black dark and an ongoing breathing met emitted from somewhere in the area, hollow and large, could it be a giant dog? a horse?

trembling Meire touched the walls around her looking for a light source.. then without a trigger feintly a red haze lit on the ceiling uncovering the shape of another mask, this one old and of a boy, around it bloomed nocturnal flowers of a kind meire had never seen..
The mask slowly opened its mouth but its words could not be heard as the cawing of crows interrupted its words.. then a dark fog blurred the red haze as if something tryed to cancel any helpful message for this place.. but before it turned fully dark again a final breath sighed the word 'chimney'.
