I love this Song, Im a Trombone player and i love the Trumpet, but i think it should have the same effect with the Strings and xylo with a lower part of the Brass, around 48-50 Start little Cycles with French horns and Trombones, Make the English horn/Oboe Solo idk but i think if there was like Clashing Time signatures on the BG and the solo, it would be cool if you Drug out the Half notes all tied under a triplet meter signature, it would sound absolutly amazing in my opinion.

Awesome chord inverval progressions. This needs percussion. It sounds like it could be very inspirational music with some snares in it. Try it out I think it will be to your liking. As for what MaestroSorrow said with the bells- it's true, but in real life bells sound pretty much just like that (depending on the hardness of the mallets you use). Great stuff, I am impressed with the quality of your brass samples! I like them very much! 5/5

Khuskan responds:

I was going to put snares in! I really was, but I had problems finding the 'right' sample, + putting them in without clipping. Yeah, I really, REALLY want snares in this...

Very impressed!

ah classical stuff!!! This is WHERE I SHINE BABY!

Okay the xylaphone or bells you used in the back should resonate more in my opinion, they just plink, they should twinkle!!! Otherwise it sounds a bit out of place. Maybe replace that sound completely with a piano.

The strings were well utilized, I lovedored them, like my own children I will adopt one day.

The ending was a bit confusing. Too much going on too randomly.

I think a good solid brass going on the background would elevate the mood. Like have french horns, or the trombones playing long stretched notes in the background.

The strings going on with the flute (I think its the flute) worked very well in my opinion.

The swapping of instruments back and forth was also a good idea, it flows well.

Have you considered Orchestral hits in this piece? I can think of a few places that it would just ROCK to have.

Over zorgasmic stuff.

you've easily bypassed my expectations once again, *5'age from me*

Khuskan responds:

The ending. Yup. The ending. I cry when I think of it. That was an automation and quantisational DISASTER. About half the notes are completely out of time, and the only reason it sounds almost slightly right is because of the overpowering brass I added to drown it out.

Yup, I'm critising myself...

Orch hits eh? I'll have to build a combinator for that, I've never tried to make one before but yes, that would work pretty well.

Wow

awsome job. I do not come to audio portal that often anymore and whenever I do it is glad to see some real good music such as this.

Keep it up

Khuskan responds:

Taa mr pie :D

hmm...

Aren't symphonies generally supposed to have 4 movements? Or at least 3? At any rate, I wouldn't call this piece such a thing. What I WOULD call it is good music, though. All-around, well-crafted, aesthetically-designed, pleasing-to-the-senses, good music.

Khuskan responds:

Hmm, maybe I should redefine.

*franticaly looks up*

Ok, you're right. Well I guess it sort of has 3 movements.. if you imagine them.
