This is actually a new song I was working on, it was all about a certain "feeling" when I was making it. I really like how the begining flows and the laughter making the mood so much more lighter. (sound clip was taken from a free sound website thingy, don't remember the URL).

When the second melody hits in around the 1:30 time it was when I was really bored with the song and started running notes randomly. Once I get my act together (school and no more stress), Ill definetly work on it. Though the last two bars of that melody always make me happy, so from what I consider a failed melody it's not 100% failed with those two bars in the end of the loop. :D

This is just to give you an insight on what I've been working on, on and off. Since I haven't uploaded ANYTHING in a loong time.

Why "miscellaneous"?

Great work so far, can't wait to hear the final product! Hm.. can't really think of anything I could criticize - good, catchy melody, very original.
Though, one thing I would suggest is putting this in a certain category.. (it has a trance feel to it.., maybe put it in trance?). The firs time I saw this I almost didn't listen to it just because I sometimes make assumptions based on the genre category it's placed in, and there usually aren't many solid songs from miscellaneous (no offense to anyone.) So yeah, other than that, can't point anything out. Great stuff man :)

Well, in all honesty while I was making this song I didn't have a genre in mind, and even now when listening to it, I can't really put my finger down and say that's trance or dance or whatever. I'm really not sure what to class it as, since I don't believe it has enough trance elements to be classed as trance. :/

But I do agree with you, since I do the same assumptions sometimes, where I see a cool name click it, and see a genre I was not specifically wanting to hear and I stop listening.

MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I was just doing my own thing, your song in the backround...I didn't know it had been playing for 20 mins, I thought it was a really long song. Turns out it's only 2 mins. It has a nice vibe and everything, really calming. I can relate to the feeling of "recovery" in this song too.

Hehe, 'twas my intention. When I make the names of my songs, I don't take my time, I name them with the first thing I had in mind making the song, and I did in fact feel this song portrays well how it's like to overcome hardships, if you know what I mean? xD
