Well, it's been a few weeks but I'm back! :)

I've been super busy learning Propellerheads' new software, Record, and how to get the most out of it. Ended up having to go out and buy a new computer just so I could use it. :P My shitty lil' laptop couldn't run the damn thing. Lol. :D

Anyways, I've been eagerly lapping up everything regarding Record and how to translate my Reason knowledge into Record and it's been quite succesful. It was a bit of a struggle at first as it just seemed like there was -so- much more to know, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I would -absolutely- recommend Record+Reason to anyone out there. If you just want to play or if you're a serious professional musician, this combo is superb.

As usual, please rate / review / enjoy!

Amaizing

Awesome! Reminds me of Parkour! Please make more like this one.

durn responds:

Yeah, I'm still waiting on my copy of the DVD. Only reason I let them use the song was based on the agreement that they'd provide me with copies of the DVD and I haven't gotten them yet. Buggers.

durn responds:

I have a soundcloud account but tend to just release my stuff on here, easier to promote I find. :) Thanks for the listen, zatan!

All I can say is Wow

This song is great, I listen to it daily. Played it at a party I was hosting and everyone loved it. Chill enough to sit and listen to but has enough beat to dance to as well. It is part of my midnight driving play list very cool when driving through a city at night. All I can say is keep up the good work. Awesome.

durn responds:

:) Awesome, man! Thanks for playin' it for other people! :D Always nice to hear that others are feelin' the tune. :) Definitely good drivin' music, I drove a truck for two years so I guess maybe that's been a big influence on my tunes.

Yeah, catsnake (producer/filmer of the parkour series) asked me for permission to use the track. I was more than willing as it was great exposure for my music. :) Still waiting on my DVD though. :P

one question, how long does it usually take audio to be approved?? i submitted my first song like a week ago but still no response D:

THanks!

durn responds:

Hehehe, thanks Krios. :) I'll give a thanks to Cloud when I talk to him next too. ;)

If it's your first track it could take up to two weeks or so. If you're eager to get your track in, try posting a message in the audio forum. There's probably a thread already created where someone else is having the same problem, best idea is to piggyback on that thread and post a message. The mods tend to get peeved if you create your own thread just to get approved.
