i had to notice the base beat of the song through out most of it except in the middle just a lot slower, Merlin's fun house, but you took it off NG so people won't remember it. but besides that it's awsome. :D

My music producing skills are becoming better and better everyday. This is slightly annoying, since every piece of music I produce has a much better production sound quality then then the last, and I keep deciding not to upload tracks because I always think "Ehh... I can do better now."
Although I am very happy with the overall sound of this track, I really know I can do a whole lot better. For starters, any audiophiles out there will easily be able to tell that I have some serious mastering issues :) I am trying to the best of my ability to get rid of that "squashed" sound that this track seems to posses.
On a musical standpoint, I feel that I could have done a lot more with this piece, but I got lazy. I have learned a lot from this. I'm also a little confused about which style of electronica this belongs to. Originally I thought this was what you called "Stadium DnB" but now I am not quite so sure.
But I am not going to let my slowly developing skills get in the way of uploading this. I present to you something I am very proud of, or at least was at the time.
PLEASE, I am always trying to improve my skills in any way shape or form. If you have the time to criticize, I have the time to listen. Be as picky as you like :) Oh, and any DnB fans, comment on my reese? I know I didn't use it very creatively other then a simple bass, but this was my first time making one.

you're using great sounds but you do have some mastering issues.
Not saying I don't:P mastering is a fuckin' pain from time to time.
it's not that bad though, i mean, i can still hear every sound at any point.
okay i'm going to try to criticize on that right now, might be that if you try my advice you'll come to learn that i'm full of shit:P
mostly the drums sound overcompressed and the main melody (which is nice and freaky haha) would do better more distorted and verby. Probably. At least verby. It just snaps out because it sounds so dry. Less mid tones, maybe.. maybe a bit less volume...
i'm just guessing a bit what could be done to improve it.
I'm kind of a DnB fan, but more in the direction of neurofunk, I prefer sharp basslines going crazy on the filter more than a reese... so if i'd comment on that i'd just say lose the whole thing:P but i guess for this song it works.
Anyway the overall sound to it is brutal, as long as it has that in this style I think it's great. So it is.
But uh, a stainless steel condom? that's gotta be some awful fucking right there.

Thanks for the review! Yeah I had huge problems with the drums, by themselves they sound fantastic, but under everything else they sound over-compressed, squashed and drowned out. I couldn't seem to bring them out without them taking over the whole track. Also, I do agree with you about the melody, but I still wanted it to sound fairly "sharp." But yeah, it is a little dry, I probably should have but some reverb on it.
I like all types of DnB; neurofunk gets me going too! But obviously that style is quite different to this. I have tried making music that is more or less neurofunk, but most of it epic fails.
Oh, and the name wasn't my idea. (Don't ask)

Loved the sub-bass, and the breakdown at the end!
I think the drums were maybe a bit loud at the beginning?
It gives me chills of awesomeness throughout the entire song, and all the synths sound epic!

Yeah the drums do drown out the soft pad at the beginning don't they. And I take the compliment about the synths to heart; I made them all my self for once! Except for the pad, I suck at making pads.
