This is by far one of my more interesting songs to date. Because this is largely a new style for me to compose in, there is a marked lack of polish on some of the more experimental areas since I really don't know what I'm doing at this point xP. If you can excuse these discrepancies, i am none-the-less very proud of the end result.

"Classi-Techno"

I'd never have thought that you could use piano with a Techno piece - the two styles just seem so different. I like the pace and the beat that accompanies the scales that you're playing with good tempo, to keep this track working nicely.

Perhaps more could be done with regards to variation of the piano, as it's just a little on the repetitive side of things. With something like a slower solo, you'd be able to give a new layer to the piece, eventually giving it something different for the beat to return with. That new dimension is something that can take the tune forward.

Almost all my techno songs have piano <_<

The song's variation is rather tricky. The piano has subtle modifications all over the place, but I couldn't actually change it around that much because the song already was running around with nearly 5 distinct melodies. I put in any more variation and it goes from having variety to sounding random.

A very good song all around. I really can't think of anything to critique it as I really don't know much about music, but from someone who casually listens to music I can say that it really sounded good.

Right from the beginning of the song it started of really quick and was fun to listen to. It maintained it's fast paced, fun nature, all the way through the entire song, making it fun to listen to the entire way through.

The length of the song was great and it never really got too repetitive or boring. The song itself could be used for many different situations in a flash game or movie whether it be in the introduction, credits, or in the submission itself.

"WOAH!!"

date: October 16, 2009

this...is...simply....AMAZING!!!

It definetely starts off great, with the fast piano catching your attention immiedetely adn that sort of whirly cosmic sound which fades away provided an interesting background for the first second or two, making sure taht the intro wasn't too abrupt.

After that, the song just keeps getting better. Transition into the main melody was simply perfect and the transitions throughout the rest of the song were even better.

I especially liked the fact taht u introduced constrasting patterns which made it more interesting to hear. I liked the part which starte aroun 1:24 most, it really provided a great interlude and break from the fast melody which started off the song.

The build up from that point was then great, with harmon excelling even though it is a techno song. The choir and the background instruments blended in brilliantly with the main melody and foreground.

Drumloops weren't repetitive either, and they were as great as they can get, providing an interesting beat and rythm.

One thing which really got my head spinning was the awesome panning. I mean, i listened to this with headphones and it was exactly like the melody was whirling around in my head, carrying my brain along in an eternal dance (dramatic huh?)...

The ending was a bit too abrupt though, but still, all you could do there was end it with a bit more of a bang. I don't think you should use a fade out cos u already used a fade in in the beginning. Still, that's jsut an opinion and its only a minor thing to improve...

Honestly, this is great. If this is unpolished, then i can't wait to hear what polisjhed sounds like cos this has already blown my mind. with songs like this, you just keep confirming that i did the right thing by putting you up high on my favourites list...

"Nice melodies"

date: October 14, 2009

You have some very nice melodies in here. Very catchy and they never get boring, even on the fifth playthrough of the song.

I also like that you added some varity to the song by taking a break from the main beat during the middle of the song.

Only thing I didn't like that much was the outro. The song kind of just ends there, which sounds a bit strange. But sadly I have no idea how you could improve this. Fade outs are overdone and don't sound better than what you did here. And adding another part for the outro might ruin the nice and happy atmosphere the song creates.
