I'm going to delete my old mix. I feel as though this one is a bit better. I added the arp and I also replaced the high lead with a piano instead (it sounded better to me :P).
To those of you that don't know, this is the song you hear when fighting against Nightmare in Metroid Fusion. I wondered what it would be like if Nightmare was actually in the prime series. After that, I just had to make this mix. This is the end result. Enjoy!

I just love the way this song sounds. Sounds like it from an actual Metroid Prime game soundtrack. I'm not a fan of the boss itself, but the music is awesome, and basically the best thing about the boss, and you just made it better. Great job!

Ok, so I recently got Metroid: Other M, and beat it. To my surprise, the Nightmare is a boss in it (you actually fight it twice). So, I decided that since Metroid Fusion came directly after Other M, It'd be good to play through it. So I downloaded all of your Fusion remixes, and played them in the spot where they would go in the game. Because they're just so good. But this one...it's the best.

Yeah, love how you revised this. Now 100% Metroid Prime but still has the right atmosphere as any Metroid Boss should. In ways, this is better than the original piece used in Fusion...scratch that, this IS better than the original piece in Fusion! Has much more than the Fusion version. Oh how I want to draw Samus fighting this thing. (as well as other boss drawings, but that's a different story!) Way to go! Keep it up! ;)

This sounds like it would fit right into Metroid Prime. It's a bit faster than the original but I think it needs that kind tone because just imagine Nightmare in a 3-D environment coming at you. I think you nailed it.
Almost
Almost there, so close! But I MY opinion, it lacks the atmosphere and the moodines of the original, not much, but a little. If this would be a tad slower and little more creepier, like with a chorus in the background or something, it would perfect.
