Finally finished another metroid mix! This time it's Lower Maridia from Super Metroid! There are some parts I didn't particularly liked about this one though. I couldn't seem to get the transition to loop right. Oh well, hope you guys still enjoy it! =]

I like it. I really do. The shifts in volume and such create quite an epic feel to the track.

I feel like there could be a little more to the track, but it's more of a personal choice, so I don't have a problem with that.

Overall, good job. Captured that Metroid feel, with the tension and atmosphere. 9/10

You did very well on this piece. It conveys the flowing, melodic "feel" of water. One of my favorite songs from the game. /clap

I'm sorry, I don't know what to say.

And I thought Brinstar was impressive!

This was so so so good. I've never really been the biggest Metroid fan but these mixes make me want to play the old SNES version with this stuff looping in with the game on mute. I actually think that the balance on this track is just fine. The contrasts in volume are awesome on my headphones.

P.S. I know you're on a Metroid Prime/ Fusion kick right now, but you should consider remixing the haunted ship from the SNES version for Halloween. Just a thought. - Bone

Near perfection

What can I say? There's a lot of good Metroid music out there, but this is just something else! An incredible and close attempt at a great theme. You've brought it up to date and you have used some very fitting instruments. My only problem with it is the volume levels, you really need to get those sorted out. They overpower the rest of the piece in places and it's difficult to appreciate the rest of it. For that reason i'm unable to give this anything more than an 8 at this time.

Fantastic effort, your music is getting better every time and I really do feel like you know exactly what the feel of Metroid music really is. I see big things for you in the future!
