I just read the verses along with the song and it struck me quite hard. It ran along beautifully. Almost movie-like, if you will. Awesome work. Keep it up. I can't wait to hear more like this.

A lot of meaning in here...

In itself, this song is very dramatic and beautiful, full of merits. Paired with the scriptures though, it takes on a much deeper meaning to me.

This piece very well fits verse 45 and 46 especially. Betrayal, and at the hands of a close discliple. I really think that you have a God given gift with your music.

On the music side of things, this work is very dramatic and reminescent of th eversus I read. You've doine a nice job of portraying Jesus at Gethsemane. I would have imagined it a bit different musically, but I think your song is also a great portrayal.

The choir was easily my favorite thing in there. Nothing too over the top, but at the same time, full of emotion and beauty. The strings were very well done as well, and the percussion only complimented the song further. I would LOVE to hear this performed or at the least redone with a good sound library!

Amazing piece of work

"Jesus at Gethsemane" is a beautiful, moving, and spectacular piece. I appluaid you for this amazing song, it is truly the greatest that you have in your Newgrounds collection. The instruments work seamlessly together, and the (I assume) voices backing them up have superb melody. I am suprised that it hasn't been used in a Flash yet, this really needs much more attention.

I notice that you seemed to be using a mediocre MIDI sequencer for the creation of this piece... I can get your song performed by a professional orchestra and choir. if you still have the MIDI file for this fantastic work of art (donddavis@gmail.com), I'd be happy to make that happen.
