"Took me by surprise"

Idk why but the name of the song gave me the impression of some type of dark song, like, the type of music you'd experience walking through the lower decks of a deserted, haunted ship in the middle of the ocean.... 0.o (wtf lol)
anyway, the beginning of the song i expected this to be another generic FL studio mass-production song, but you actually surprised me as the song continued on. In fact, the more and more i listen to this song the more i like it. It's not the best, but it certainly isn't too repetetive and holds its own style. It didn't really stray out of what the song was trying to be. I think the only sample i didn't like was your kick. I think it could've been a bit harder and deeper, because sometimes when a lot of the other riffs came in it tended to get a bit quiet. But no one gives a shit what I think the kick could've been, so w/e lol.
All in all, i enjoyed it. Not great, but solid. 7/10 because i felt like the beginning could've been a bit better. Keep up the good work :)

Freudian Slip is a pysch term, but I can see where something dark might come into play there.
I'll see what I can do to up the kick a little. I didn't want it to be too overpowering, but I guess I made it too weak instead, haha.
