Review

Hi Nosebleed,

This one actually sounds different from the other house songs on NG. I give you kudos for the originality. Here is my review.

Yes, the typical house kick is nice though I did think the solo kicks were a bit too long.
15 seconds in and I love what you did with your umm percussion? Nice job. I also like the buildup happening to 1:00 minute.

Unfortunately at 1:00 I was expecting for the climax and didn't get it. Sounds more like ambient here. Pretty pads though.

2:00 I like what you did with your sidechaining. I like those kicks and percussion. The only issue is that you probably compressed the kicks way too much muffling out the lead instrument. (Maybe you skipped the whole sidechaining process and found a kick that already has a sidechaining effect...I don't know....I'm assuming you did sidechain intentionally though)

3:00 the lead instrument seems to be playing too much dissonance. It isn't in tune. Fortunately it seems to fit better at 3:30 This is the best part of your song.

4:00 sounds pretty nice. I was expecting something big to come out of it, but well the song just ended.

So I think you might need some better EQing on the dirty instruments. The song kinda starts slow but it gets going halfway through. House is fun to make. Glad you had fun making this. 5/5 and 9/10 review.

Bye for now

Nah I dunno...

Sounded better when you blended that annoying sound together, but I think it's a tad to slow and that intro loop sounds like a sound bite from some where I know I've heard it. The Arps and what not that came in after 1 minute ruined the song as they were a completely different feel and style. Not liking it but it shows potential definitely. Not minimalistic at all either. The main beat is nice and side chained perfectly good job on that. If you cut our your intro and just had the main beat it would get a nine.

I think you should use that blended sound as a lead in your next song

Hey!

For some reason, especially in the beginning, I immediately started to think: "Why does this remind me of Electro Choc in GTA IV?". After the beat intro came the melody. And, out of my thinking and all... I started listening "truly". It really sounds professional, despite the minimalism side. Keep up the good work, I'll only notice a flaw around 2:03 onwards, the sound seems a bit saturated. Overall, really neat. I'll vote 4. Again, nice one.

DJ-NOSEBLEED responds:

Thank you kind sir.
