Win.
I have to say I really really liked the repetitive background beat. Travel tends to be boring and repetitive, and this is definately a song about going places. The drums are a bit lackluster, and the synthy stuff from 00:25 through 00:47 is oddly discordant at times. Then again the old-school gamer in me really likes the retro sound of it. And then, the guitar section.
The guitar section is off the hook. That was a pretty freaking sweet changeover you did there. The song really comes into its own after a minute there and gets a lot of really nice life and personality. Who can rag on the background beat with the triumphant guitar all over the place like that? It's a great crescendo. Wierdly enough, I think this song seems a bit more like a grand and celebratory arrival than the sequel XD just goes to show you I guess.
