So, I really need you to picture this for me..
This song reminds me of a time.. A simpler time, whether it's in the future, or in the past I will not know. However in this time period, this specific memory occurred. I will not ever know why I had this memory. It could have been because earlier that day I had this feeling inside of me of wanting to know this specific event's details. Why I wanted to know the gruesome details, I will not know, and I currently do not know. One thing I do remember was how I had single handedly destroyed the nothingness of space itself. I know what you're thinking "Just get to the point", I'll get there in a second.

This is a very confused song. It doesn't know if it's dark psytrance or not! There are parts of the song that are kinda dark psytrance-like, but there are others that are too overtonal to be dark, in part because of the breakbeat.
Anyway, I decided to use one of my breakbeats. It fits in quite well. I applied some very weak distortion to it, so it's not bad sound quality. It really is distorted.
This song has characteristics of Necton's "There Ain't No Answers", but it is in no way an attempt to duplicate the song...but I got close, didn't I?

It sounds a lot more Goa than psytrance, so I'd say it's dark goa psytrance, definitely :)
It has a nice kick and bass on there, but i'd put more volume on the bassline though. Nice ambiences too, but it needs more power on the percussions.

This is good. I totally dig Psy, and I love what little bit of it is in there. Good job. I feel like it was missing a lead, or something, though. It was just sort of a progression. I think it needed something to push it along a little bit more.
Otherwise, keep this sort of thing up. This is a very good start.

thank you for the review. this song was more ambient dark psy, so i think the lack of a lead was more appropriate. but i've always had a problem with leads, so adding one would have been a problem for me. besides, i consider leads to be more for goa. well, that's my excuse, anyway.
