Very, very well done. The pauses were a bit annoying, but nice anyway.

No story on this one I dont think. Its unfinished, but since i'm not sure if I will be continuing this [writers block] I have submitted it anyways.
Even though I have no story, I was thinking about the subject of recognition, and revelation. So there are elements of sadness, and uplifting outbursts. Imagine if you didn't know who you were, and you were so close to finding out. This is what I think this piece represents.
Comments and criticism please.

I like it. The emotion you put into this is very clear and obvious as it should be. My only suggestion would be that in the long pauses, at least have some kind of noise going. If even holding a single key for the duration of the silence. Otherwise it just sounds like the pianist forgot the notes, or I don't know... I just don't think it sounds very good?
Violins would go very well with this piece too. But if you wanted to keep this strictly piano, that's respectable.
Also, to answer your question, your score is low because a majority of Newgrounds folks are ADD about their music and can not appreciate slow classical pieces, or ambience etc.
