Alright. I'm first going to say that this took me a long time to do.
Secondly, I tried to make it as close to the original as possible.. Not sure if I succeeded.
Finally, I know my instruments are bad. If someone would be kind enough to donate me better drum and brass samples, I'd be much obliged.

I did this because FFT is probably my all time favourite of the Final fantasy series.
I can't honestly tell, but it sounds like some of my notes are off, just looking for confirmation.
Thanks, and I'll submit some more every now and again.

EDIT:
Fixed the drums. Fixed the Brass.
Took something out completly, not like you could hear it anyway.

At least of the standard I have come to expect from you. Nicely done!

Commentary (and bear in mind I have not heard the original): I liked the drum work, but more percussion and a lower form of percussion would probably have been a good idea - the song feels like it's missing something on the lower end. However, everything on the upper has been very well done, your choices of samples were not too overpowering nor were they overly difficult to listen to, and they certainly sound in place. The lower string I might have done something with, but it's nothing drastic.

Well done man. Sorry this took me so long to get to. :)

I'm going to try something original next.. I've been playing with something, but I need to wait a till tuesday or wednesday before I can even start again.

We need more FFT music, it's one of the best games in history!

I think this work is pretty good, but it's lacking something... IDK if it's instruments' clarity... There's something missing, something that makes this special. It's pretty cool anyways, but maybe keep that in mind for the next one :)

I think know what you mean. I'm not going to be doing anymore video game mixes for a while. This was just practice. Anyway, I was learning how to tweak certain samples to sound a certain way. Thanks for your input, but this song is gone. Too much zero bombing in the beginning. The next one will be a classical piece I believe. Hope to see another review.

Author's Response:

Yeah. It's going to bother me in the future.
And thanks, I think the job I did with the strings kinda makes up for some of it.
