So I was playing around and found these "hoo" and "hah" samples. And I've never really used anything vocal before, so I figured, why the hell not? Pretty soon I drummed the inspiration for a song up, and away I went with the idea. I worked so much on progression and getting it to flow the way I wanted that I didn't even realise until after rendering it that it was only 2:40 long. Well. Damn. It's short, but I think what is there is quite enjoyable. I don't usually do stuff this upbeat, so this is a departure for me in more ways than one. Hope you all enjoy it. :D

I was throughly pleased with it. this song may have only been about 8 stars without the "hoo" and "hah" sounds that you added. But that's probably just me. Good techno song, when i saw this was yours i decided to check it out and see what it was...worth it. to the person below me, not a perfect loop but pretty damn close.
I really hope more people discover this black horse of a song.
This song is getting to be fairly old, and honestly, I had gotten used to no one paying attention to it. But it's a welcome surprise to see a new review, and especially a complimentary one :D

Not what I was expecting...
The drums worked really nicely with the vocal samples. Some of the synths were interesting choices, mainly the plucked bass that came in with the vocals. Maybe try a saw wave, somethign more busy sounding. Is that a crowd sample too? The middle breaks down well, not sure if you even need vocals during that part. Silence is golden sometimes in music, it sets things up and amplifies the other instruments that are playing.
This actually loops pretty nicely.

Haha, I was starting to wonder if this song would ever get a review. I just figured I'd come and check my submissions on a spur of the moment sort of whim.. Didn't expect to really find anything. Always a pleasure getting a review from you, RGH. :D
I think the percussion and the vocals worked out pretty well, too. I'm a little dismayed to see this getting such a low score and so little attention, but such is life. ._.
The 'plucked bass' is actually more of a tabla, but good guess :P. As for the crowd sample, it's actually just a huge crash. The reverb gives it that sound. Anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks a ton for the review. I'm working on finishing and submitting a lot of the songs I've been working with lately.. So I should have a bunch of new stuff up soon, in all sorts of varying genres, as usual. :D
