Lady Arsenic's first solo piece on this account! Huzzah!

This is an old Renaissance folk song that has been redone and thrown about for centuries. Well, now you get to hear how it is to be sung in Lady Arsenic's point of view. And in her point of view, there needs to be 5 Lady Arsenics singing at the same time (she calls it the Salon Quintet). This project took almost 4 hours to make. No lie, no kidding. Now, how did I manage to make my great studio microphone to work without glitching? Well, that's a big secret, and she probably won't do it again unless she needs to! Anyway, enjoy!

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine.

Tell him to make me a cambric shirt
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Without no seams or needlework
And then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to wash it in yonder dry well
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Where ne'er a drop of water e'er fell
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Tell him to find me an acre of land
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Between salt water and the sea strands
Then he'll be a true love of mine

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine

Mabey its just me...

But the pitch seemed too high for me to get many words out of it. Thanks for posting the lyrics. Raindrop effect in background gives ambience and adds depth. Good job taking into account the fact that you only had one voice at your disposal. If you seek greater glory, try adding instruments/other voices.

4 hours to make?

And the effort shows. I love the Simon and Garfunkel version, love the Celtic Woman version, and love this one too.

a Britsh classic

It has musical meaning that no other song has.....the 2nd voice made it a bit hard to hear....

My goodness, I'm so sorry to hear that, Fargh! I know how painful loss can be, and I understand how it is. I'm so glad we could help you out with at least this little treat for you. It's the least we can do. Feel better, okay, poppet? Thanks for listening!
With love,
