The second song in the Burning series.
Has some similar samples, and the same euphoric rave style ;-)

"Simple, Uplifting & Sublime"

date: April 25, 2009

A simple sequence that you've reiterated quite a few times, but each repetition changes in just enough ways to sound refreshing, and the variety contribute significantly to a song so spirited & uplifting. I think you've achieved something very special here - a piece that can sound quite grandiose, but not so overbearing that it can't be lighthearted at the same time.

My only qualm is the part at 0:45 - kinda gets a bit repetitive, no? I understand you need a short segway into the next part of the music, but 4 repetitions can tiresome.

That said, I can imagine this piece being absolutely perfect for certain settings - like a menu screen background for a game. Nothing in dark and ominous genre, of course. Maybe a quick space-shooter, which I can't help but keep imagining this piece being perfect for. It can definitely hype up any player getting into a game & hook them into playing.
