This is one of three random loops that plays during Mastermind: World Conqueror. Each loop starts and ends the same way, and every time a loop finishes, the game randomly picks one of the three to play next.

As always, feedback will help me to revise this song and to influence future songs for the game!

"Good show!"

I am impressed by your music skills ;)
I've sended you a mail years ago, when blockhead 1 just came out, to ask what program you used to make music.
Now, I've already bought FL Studio, and made various songs!
So thanks for that.

About the song, it is a real good soundscape. It really gives a good, blurry-dark atmosphere. The use of the nice pads is really wonderful! I've been tring to get a hold of a few good synths, but mostly failed... Oh well, i'll keep trying!

Also, did you had music lessons, if so, for how long? It's just out of plain interest ;) I've been playing piano for almost 5 years now, so I like to meet up with fellow musicians as well! :)
Oh, and mind telling me how you've started? Did you start with plain tutorials and exploring yourself, or did you do anything else?

Haha, I'm sorry I went off-topic here, it's a wonderful soundscape and you should really be proud of your talents; as well in art and animation, as in music!

"hmmm"

they all sound a bit samsy, but if you want to keep that kind of style, then i suggest taking one of the songs and liven it up a bit, like something from the game Red Alert 2, the songs in that game was all action and alive, this loop is the perfect relaxing, constructing, researching song, probably the second song could be the liven up song, something to immerse the player into the game, this is suggestion of course, not something to really, follow but you never know, it could work :)

Author's Response:

Incidentally, I was gonna add an ambient "marching" track to the game, just like Red Alert <3 I've owned the soundtrack to that game for years, it's inspirational.

And you called it - this track is the "break" from the higher energy songs. I have a minor chord one, a creepy one, and this is the "nice" one I suppose. It's all major chords and in a different key than the other two. All I need now is an ambient song with more sound effects than music.

I love the dark ambience that it creates just like the rest of the mastermind soundtrack.
