The first contender in the DnB VS Techno piece. I decided to split it and put up separate versions for download.

the bass is fine

This is an excellent track. I love the slowly moving reese and sad melodies on the keys. Some of the higher frequencies on the drums hurt a bit especially at the crash cymbals so you may want to cut those frequencies a bit. Two more suggestions: Add a subbass to go along with the reese, and applying pitch bends to the reese is really cool and it would add more diversity to this loop. Nice track tho, keep up the good work!

thanks a ton for your input. i promise you there's plenty of sub bass! i chose that particular sound because it made my studio shake, it's just not that noticeable on smaller speakers. i totally agree about the drum track though, i hate it now but it was just something i settled with originally. pitch bends would be pretty cool but i just don't feel like working on this song any more since it's kinda old. be sure to check out my new stuff later this week!

Not bad!

I just dont feel the bass in it though. If you could turn up the bass it'd be worthy of a 9/10 I think...

But as it is right now, 7/10 & 4/5

Peace!

Teamd0m1nat3 responds:

thanks man, the bass is verrrry low. what are you listening to it on? i wrote it on really nice monitors i should have known it wouldn't carry through to anything else. anyways, it's an older song of mine i'd like to think my newer work is better. i'll have a brand new song up later this week you should check it out!
