Ethnic/classical track. This one comes from the heart, imagine a buddhist pagoda on a hill surrounded by a brisk, flowing stream. Review please!

Very nice

I really enjoyed the song, and a nice feel to it. Loved the violin or whatever that was, it seemed to fit perfectly. With the backing of the oriental instruments. Really liked how it seemed to loop over itself too. A very nice background sound, perfect for an RPG or the like, great job

thanks Shanus, I used both a violin and erhu. (well an erhu is a type of violin)

Good

Cool little intro first off but it sorta drags on for a little longer than it should, gets boring and repeptative. This is a very soothing and relaxing track and i liked it. I liked the combiniation of quiet soothing instruments that dont overpower each other but sort of intertwine.

Very good!!

Slightly Oriental

A little low, for my liking, as tunes that tend to sound slightly oriental are quite high pitched and delicate - often replecting the nature of the artist, who is almost certainly female in feudal Japan or China.

I think the basic rhythm could do with a tweak, as it's really all I can hear for the whole track and it drowns out the main melody a little and it does get rather repetitive, which is a shame, as this piece is a quality track.

I'd suggest that you work on your looping as well, as it's almost there, but about half a note out. Making that work would make all the difference.

good point about the high pitched instruments- i never even thought of that.

the backing rhythm could sure use a tweak, but really nothing drastic is needed as its just a minimal background. dont quite see how it drowns out the other parts tho, as making it more complex might be too distracting for the lead voicings of the violin and erhu.

and the track really isn't supposed to loop, but I guess I can revise it again to see what you mean.

Thanks for the review!

Pretty Nice

The opening is a little slow an repetivie but past that when it starts to build up, it's certainly very good and everything, slow and pretty relaxed in terms of the tune and keeping with the same back beat. Very good with that though it does make it seem to be repetative, so maybe in parts make it fade down just so it's there but not as noticible, might sound good, not sure.

The ending wasn't too noticible, I missed it and it started over again, which means it loops well which is good if needed to loop. It all sounds to come together very well but my only concern is the repetitivness of the background but otherwise, nice work.

4/5

Nice and relaxing track. I like the humming sounds in the backgound.
I also like the plucked string instrument that plays the simple but very effective melody.

The "flow" of the track is great. Everything seems to flow away, just like the stream you described in the author comments. Great work!
